Police nab another 3 for Cirebon bomb

AKARTA: National Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli Amar said the police had arrested three more people in relation with the terrorist cell alledgedly associated with Muhammad Syarief, the deceased Cirebon mosque suicide bomber.

He said the three were identified as JH, alias Zulkifli Lubis, FD, alias Ferdiansyah, and Ibrohim, alias Baim.

Boy said they were nabbed in Depok.

Boy added that the police had also confiscated a small firearm with 25 bullets from Zulkifli’s house, 344 AK-47 and SS1 bullets and eight magazines, of which four were fully loaded.

“The arrest is the follow-up after police arrested Abu Sifa, alias Ishak Indriana, in Cirebon a few days ago,” he said on Sunday, as quoted by kompas.com.

Along with the arrest of Ishak, police also found six pipe bombs hidden in the Soka River, Cirebon, which would likely have been used in future terrorist actions, he added. — JP
