NDONESIA: The police’s antiterror unit Densus 88 arrested six people in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Saturday for allegedly planning a terror attack.
Those arrested were suspected of being members of the Jamaah Islamiyah and Jamaah Anshorut Tauhid networks.
“They were planning to attack the police headquarters last night,” said a source from the National Police headquarters, tempointeraktif.com reported.
The previous night, police in Central Sulawesi found three assembled bombs behind a church in Poso, along with a number of arms. —JP
