AKARTA: Norman Kamaru, who shot to fame in a video lip-syncing to the Bollywood hit “Chaiya Chaiya”, has signed a contract with PT Falcon Interactive worth Rp 1 billion (US$113,000).
“The Rp 1 billion contract is for him to produce one album,” the company’s lawyer, Andre W. Kusuma, said Wednesday as quoted by kompas.com.
Norman, who recently tendered his resignation from the Gorontalo Mobile Police Brigade, may also star in a movie produced by the mobile content developer.
“If we sign the movie contract with him, he could earn more than Rp 2 billion,” Andre said.
