Sophia refuses to comment on divorce

Kapanlagi.com

JAKARTA: While local media are busy reporting Sophia Latjuba’s plans for a divorce from her second husband, the multitalented artist has refused to comment on the reports.

The 41-year-old has turned a deaf ear to the gossip, preferring to occupy herself with her work — from singing, acting and modeling to teaching yoga.

“She will never speak on that matter. It will just bring disgrace to the family,” Sophia’s manager, Ralda, said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

News of Sophia’s separation emerged after her husband, Michael Villareal, unveiled the plans for divorce on his Twitter.

He accused Sophia of having an affair.

Sophia married American Villareal in 2005. They have a daughter, Manuella. Sophia was previously married to noted Indonesian musician Indra Lesmana.
