ULELENG: As many as 30 countries will participate in the upcoming International Mask Arts and Culture Organization (IMACO) festival, to be held at the Buleleng harbor in late November.
“The final number of participants will be much higher because we are still awaiting confirmation from other countries,” IMACO international relations director Moon Hyung Suk stated on Monday, during his visit to the venue hosting the festival.
The festival will feature mask exhibitions and performances from all participants. “I believe the festival will be a success because we have prepared for a long time,” he added.
Buleleng regency secretary Dewa Ketut Puspaka said the festival would be a valuable opportunity for the coastal regency to gain international attention.
