upang: Up to 11 children under the age of five have died over the last two months due to a dengue fever outbreak in East Nusa Tenggara, according to data from the local health office.
The latest victim was identified as Maria Olivia, 3, from the Kelapa Lima subdistrict in Kupang city.
“She died at 11:30 p.m. [Tuesday],” WZ Yohanes Hospital spokesperson Jane Mbado said on Wednesday.
Another victim was Neneng Burah, 5, from Legelaku subdistrict in Sikka regency.
