ANDUNG: Industry players, academics and policy makers from 16 countries have been confirmed to attend the Asian Tourism Forum’s conference on the tourism and hospitality industry from Tuesday to Friday in Bandung, West Java.
Noviendi, the head of the Tourism Academy where the conference will be held, said that the event would be attended by 350 participants from nations as far away as Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, China, New Zealand, the UK and Australia.
Participants would have a chance to exchange information with their counterparts to further develop the industry in Asia, he added.
“The conference will be held under the theme ‘Rethinking Tourism’ with the focus on discussing strategies for sustainable development,”Noviendi said in Bandung on Monday.
