Cherry Belle fending off plagiarism claims

J

AKARTA: Having recently lost two band members, girl band Cherry Belle has suffered even more shocking news.

The band was recently accused of plagiarizing their new song “Best Friend Forever” from the Korean girl band SNSD’s song “Kissing You”.

Despite the accusation, Cherry Belle’s members are staying calm and say they are used to such accusations.

“We would like to focus on our new songs instead [of the claim.] We have commented about past plagiarism claims before,” said band member Cherly to kapanlagi.com.

She added, “We [Cherry Belle] sing but do not write our songs. So we really do not have to worry about the [plagiarism claims] since we only sing.”

Nevertheless, Cherly admitted that she and her band members view SNSD as one of their role models.
