AKARTA: Presenter and comedian Olga Syahputra is again under fire for his jokes, which have allegedly offended members of the public.

Kapanlagi.com reported that he was accused of saying inappropriate things to a member of the audience during the show Dahsyat recently.

According to the newswire, there were also a number of protests regarding his comments on Julia Perez’s Islamic greeting of “Assalamualaikum” during another television show.

Last year, the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission said the comedian had insulted a rape victim when calling the recent rape and murder of a woman on public transportation as unimportant.

Olga said it during the live broadcast of Trans TV and Trans 7’s parent corporation Trans Corp’s anniversary celebrating on Dec. 27.
