Former beauty queen and legislator Angelina Sondakh is rumored to have married her lover Brotoseno in an unregistered Islamic ceremony (siri).
Angelina, popularly known as Angie, is currently detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as a suspect in the misappropriation of budget allocations at the Education and Culture Ministry and the Youth and Sports Ministry.
Tengku Nasrullah, her lawyer, has neither confirmed nor denied the rumor.
“I do not know whether Angie and Broto have officially married or married under siri, but their relationship is on the right track,” he said Wednesday, as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
Angie was previously married to actor and fellow legislator Adjie Massaid, who died last year. In addition to the two children from Adjie’s previous marriage, the couple also had a son of their own before Adjie’s passing.
