elebrity couple Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty have cancelled their romantic trip to the Maldives Islands for their honeymoon, following their much-publicized lavish wedding earlier this year.

“We were planning to go to the Maldives but we have scrapped our plan because the tickets were night-time flights and we can’t travel at night” Ashanty said, as quoted by tempo.co.

The 27-year-old singer said that one of her friends had offered her the tickets for free.

She said that she and Anang had agreed to go to Thailand instead and were planning to leave on Friday.

“This will be the first time we have traveled alone, just the two of us. I’m very excited,” said the singer who sang the duet “Jodohku” (My Soulmate) with Anang.
