ovi Amalia, suspected of driving while drunk, was sent to drug addiction hospital RSKO Cibubur in East Jakarta on Thursday for detoxification and rehabilitation.

Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said that the adult magazine model was under the supervision of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).

“Since we found no evidence of her possessing narcotics, she was referred to the agency for rehab as regulated in Article 127 of the 2009 Law on Narcotics,” he said.

Novi, 25, was allegedly under the influence of drugs and alcohol when arrested after running into seven people, including two policemen, in Taman Sari, West Jakarta, on Oct. 11.

The police are preparing Novi’s dossier, charging her with reckless driving, which carries a maximum prison sentence of three years.
