he West Java Police have named two locals as suspects in the recent attack on an Ahmadiyah mosque in Tejowaringin village in Tasikmalaya, West Java, a police official said.
National Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Agus Rianto said on Tuesday that the West Java Police had arrested the two, identified as KUS and AT, on charges of vandalizing the mosque and nearby houses on Sunday.
'KUS and AT have been detained since Monday. Both of them live near the village,' Agus said on Tuesday.
The two suspects will be charged under Article 170 of the Criminal Code on joint vandalism, which will carry a seven-year maximum sentence if the two are found guilty.
