Of the total number, nine bodies were discovered in Bener Meriah regency, and the other 26 in Central Aceh regency, kompas.com reported on Friday.
Eight people were declared missing after the earthquake, which measured 6.2 on the Richter scale, while 276 others were injured, the data shows.
BNPB spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said that 537 homes had been badly damaged in Bener Meriah, with 252 others suffering only slight damage. In Central Aceh, 1,368 homes were razed, while 2,135 had minor damage. (apt)
