resident Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's (SBY) Facebook account has attracted 94,943 new friends, as of Saturday morning, since its official launch a day before.
SBY's first Facebook status update read, 'Today I joined Facebook,YouTube and Google Hangout. I want to be able to communicate more with my fellow Indonesians.'
He also thanked all his followers who always provided him with input and criticism but also added, 'Although sometimes I am being bullied.'
Besides joining the Facebook community, the President also uploaded videos on YouTube and chilled out on Google Hangout, tempo.co reportedon Saturday. SBY's microblogging quest was a follow up to his successful twitter account @SBYudhoyono that managed to attract 2.3 millions of followers.(hrl/dic)
