A man claiming to be most-wanted terror fugitive Santoso appeared on a video uploaded to YouTube, calling on jihadists to keep fighting the National Police'€™s Densus 88 counterterrorism squad.

The six-minute video, called '€œRisalah Kepada Ummat Islam di Kota Poso'€ (A Message to the Muslim Community in Poso), was uploaded by an account under the name
Al-Himmah on Sunday, but the press was not aware of its existence until Tuesday.

In the video, the man claiming to be Santoso delivered his message while brandishing a handgun in the woods. Two masked men armed with rifles stood behind him.

'€œTo our brothers, especially in Poso [Central Sulawesi]. Yesterday, I heard about your clashes against Densus 88. I am very proud to hear the news,'€ he said.

He went on to say that the counterterrorism squad had slain, assaulted and jailed dozens of '€œour brothers'€.

Your comments:

He'€™s a coward. If he had guts he would join the rebel fighters in Syria.

Densus 88 should be disbanded as its officers abuse human rights in Indonesia.

Luckily, there'€™s the news on Popcorn Asia so I can wash my eyes and mind of such a hideous sight.

All radicals need to be eradicated first, then we can close down the counterterrorism force.

It is really funny '€” we can get videos inciting jihad but anything with skin in it is deemed porn and banned.

What a disgrace. We need to think more clearly guys, these extremist people have attacked our nation, they have tried but will not succeed.

What is wrong with these people? Do they always fight with guns? The unreasonable fanaticism is the reason why they act like a child. Clearly these people seek disunity of the nation.

Densus 88 is doing its best job. I believe some of them are Muslims and clearly know what they face.
