The promoter of American heavy metal band Metallica, Blackrock Entertainment, says the rock titans will perform in front of Indonesian fans on Aug. 25 for more than two hours.

'€œThere will be no opening act; they don'€™t want it. The concert is slated to take place for more than 2 hours, but we don'€™t have the set list yet,'€ Krishna Radhitya, the company'€™s president director, said.

In addition, Krishna said that Metallica had also prepared a monstrous 200,000-watt sound system to support the concert at Bung Karno Stadium in Senayan, South Jakarta.

Krishna said in order to avoid a repetition of the chaos that broke out during Metallica'€™s 1993 concert in Jakarta, the promoter would deploy 4,800 security officers.

'€œBoth Metallica and us don'€™t want the chaos to happen again; we'€™ve learned a lot from what happened 20 years ago,'€ Krishna said, adding that they had prepared a total of 54,000 tickets.
