Veteran actor Kris Biantoro to be cremated Thursday

he body of veteran actor, singer and presenter Christophorus '€œKrisBiantoro'€ Soebiantoro will be cremated on Thursday and the ashes scattered at sea, afamily member said.

'€œFather always said that he favored cremation and his ashes scattered at sea. He always liked nature, especially the sea,'€ Kris Biantoro'€™s son Invianto said as quoted by tribunnews.com on Tuesday.

He said that the family was still discussing which waters to scatter the ashes in, adding that his father would be cremated wearing his signature attire.

Kris Biantoro was found dead sitting on a bench while feeding his pet birds at his house in Bukit Permai housing complex in Cibubur, East Jakarta, on Tuesday. He was 70. According to reports, the cause of death was kidney disease, which he had suffered for 32 years.

He leaves behind wife Maria Nguyen Kim Dung, sons Invianto and Ceasefiarto and five grandchildren.(dic)
