Controversy continues to swirl around TV actress Asmirandah with celebrity websites reporting that the starlet has converted to Christianity and that she is pregnant from her brief marriage to actor Jonas Rivanno '€œVanno'€ Watimena.

'€œThe rumor about her pregnancy is untrue,'€ Asmirandah'€™s lawyer Afdal Zikri told reporters at Depok Religious Court in Depok, West Java on Wednesday.

Tribunnews.com reported that the court finally annulled the marriage of Asmirandah and Vanno, which was conducted in October after it was proved that Vanno was still a Christian.

According to the Marriage Law, a marriage is only valid if it is between partners of the same faith.

Due to this religious difference, another rumor has it that Asmirandah has converted to Christianity, as the star was reportedly seen entering a church in the Kelapa Gading area of North Jakarta.

'€œI don'€™t know [about the conversion]. But marriage should be between the same faith right?'€ the lawyer said.
