A landslide triggered by heavy rains killed two people in the Papua provincial capital of Jayapura on Tuesday evening.
The two were found dead after the landslide struck their rented house, a source said.
The bodies of the landslide victims, identified as Undari and Elisabeth Lunnisai, had been taken to the Hamadi naval hospital for a post-mortem examination.
