n Army helicopter that failed to report its location en route to Long Bawang, Kalimantan's border area, has been found, an Army official said on Thursday.
'The chopper had to make an emergency landing at Long Tulip village in Malinau Regency due to bad weather. It will continue flying if conditions allow,' Army spokesman Brig. Gen. Andika Perkasa said in a press release sent to The Jakarta Post.
The helicopter had departed from Tarakan, North Kalimantan on Wednesday afternoon. It was transporting logistics and 10 personnel for the Army's border guard posts. (dic)
