The city administration is planning to enlarge Transjakarta bus stops that are considered too small to accommodate passengers.

'€œWe are making bigger bus stops. [The current ones] don'€™t even have toilets,'€ Deputy Governor Basuki '€œAhok'€ Tjahaja Purnama said at City Hall on Sunday.

'€œThe project will be done this year,'€ he added.

Ahok said that the administration and the Transjakarta management would consider rearranging routes in accordance with traffic during rush hour in the morning and afternoon.

'€œWe need to readjust the routes to avoid high numbers of passengers gathering at certain bus stops,'€ he said.

Many passengers have complained about waiting at the bus stops for hours and the lack of facilities.
