ne of two Finnish tourists was still missing as of Tuesday after diving in waters near the resort island of Gili Trawangan in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). His traveling companion was previously rescued.
The two divers, identified as Ingerman Kangsep, 33, and Kalle Johane Rasman, 34, were reported missing on Sunday.
Kangsep was found safe, trapped in a rumpon fishing cage, but the search continues for Rasman.
The head of NTB's search and rescue (SAR) team, Lalu Wahyu Efendi, said both divers, accompanied by their girlfriends, rented a speedboat on Sunday and planned to go to Gili Meno Island.
'Halfway through their journey, the two men decided to stop for a dive but after some time underwater, they did not resurface,' Lalu said.
