re you single, under 30, aren'€™t working as a doctor/lawyer and want to know how to deflect annoying questions from your relatives this Chinese New Year?

A website designed for mobile devices by Wunderwerks Singapore called '€œWhy so kaypoh?'€ (www.whysokaypoh.com) aims to help you to do just that.

The page features some 50-odd questions on five different topics (Lifestyle, Career and Money, Love and Relationships, School, Marriage), with tongue-in-cheek responses to boot.

For example, the '€œWhen are you having kids?'€ question brings up a list of answers, including: '€œAs soon as the value of Asian babies go up'€, or '€œI had some for breakfast. Crispy!'€

Other snarky answers include '€œI saw how boring your kids turned out so, I'€™m trying to be nothing like them,'€ to the perennial query '€œWhy you never choose to study Law or Medicine?'€

Designed for Singaporean users, the site can still be used by Malaysians, though locals here will most likely have to swap terms such as '€œHDB'€ for something else.

'€œKaypoh'€ is a Chinese term used to describe '€œbusybodies'€.

The Star is not responsible for any arguments, backlashes or family fights that may or may not arise during family reunion dinners as a result of using this website.
