he police arrested two men allegedly involved in a drug ring during a raid on a house in Parigi Baru subdistrict, South Tangerang, on Friday.

According to the police, the suspects were a dealer ' Santoso alias Santos, 36 ' and a courier ' Johan alias Naung, 26 ' of crystal methamphetamine.

'The police confiscated 40 grams of ready-to-sell crystal meth and Rp 150 million [US$12,300] in cash as evidence,' said Tangerang Police drugs unit chief Comr. I Gede Gotia.

Gotia said the raid was made after one-week surveillance operation after a tip off.

The police were still questioning the suspects for further investigation.
