'€œAccording to the latest report from our members, the floods entered residential areas at around 2 a.m. today,'€ Dadang Wahidin, coordinator of Bandung Youth Disaster Alert Association, said as quoted by Antara news agency.

Many residents from three floodaffected subdistricts moved to higher levels such as lowcost rented apartments and local government offices.

Floods were triggered by incessant heavy rain since Sunday evening.
