Samsung Galaxy S5
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is an Android smartphone and the immediate successor to 2013's Galaxy S4. Although intended to be an iPhone contender, the 5-inch S5 can easily slips into the phablet category along with its pioneering sister product, the Galaxy Note, due to its size and performance. It features Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) and Samsung's improved version of TouchWiz software, resulting in a more refined interface.
Nokia Lumia 1020
The Nokia Lumia 1020 is a Windows Phone 8 smartphone that is great with pictures. The 4-incher contains Nokia's PureView technology that reduces an image taken at full resolution into a lower resolution picture, thus producing photos that are excellent for any medium. It also ships with Nokia's new Pro Camera application, allowing a greater degree of control over the camera settings.
Sony Xperia Z2
The Sony Xperia Z2 is a high-end Android smartphone, under the codename 'Sirius'. The Xperia Z2 is a 5-incher that is water and dust proof. It features a pixel density of 423 and will likely become a significant player in the phablet market with its premium package. It has 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It is Android KitKat capable and still carries Sony's musical edge with its custom media applications (Walkman, Album and Videos).

This Smartfren Andromax has 4.5-inch display, dual SIM of CDMA/GSM and runs on Android v4.1 JellyBean with a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 1.2GHz Adreno 203 GPU. Offered at less than Rp 2 million (US$176), it is one the best value smartphones on the market.
Apple iPhone 5s
The iPhone 5s is the successor to the iPhone 5c and maintains a very similar design to its predecessor, aside from the introduction of a new home button and a fingerprint lock system. The 4-incher has an updated camera with a larger aperture and a dual-LED flash optimized for different color temperatures. It also introduced the A7 dual-core processor, the first 64-bit processor to be used on a smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
At 5.7 inches, this phablet is slightly bigger than the Galaxy S5. Compared to previous Note releases, it has a lighter and more upscale look, with a plastic leather backing. Equipped with stylus and multitasking-oriented functionality in its software, it is a better choice than Galaxy S5 for those looking for mobile office use. It has greater RAM at 3GB and offers models with internal storage up to 64GB.
