resident Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono lashed out on Sunday against his critics, saying that his record during the past 10 years was impressive.
Yudhoyono said in a statement, posted on his private YouTube channel, that his critics, who accused him of only causing setbacks to the country in the past 10 years, were being unfair.
'Really? If the rates of poverty and unemployment have gone down, doesn't this mean that people are happier? Economic growth, better security, improved quality and health services [...] are these improvements or setbacks? It is unjust to consider these as setbacks,' Yudhoyono said.
The President specifically targeted those politicians who have criticized him on the legislative election campaign trail.
'There are some, not too many, campaign speakers who have continued to attack my record, my administration and my political party,' Yudhoyono said in the statement.
