When people own a luxury car, the vehicle'€™s prestigious brand itself may be enough to bring satisfaction and pride. However, some high-end accessories will further enhance your joy of using the luxurious brand. Every brand and car type has its own distinctive accessories. Microsoft'€™s portal MSN.com, which offers various types of news, select the following seven distinctive accessories:

1. A leather-lined wooden iPod drawer

As many people can attest, no in-journey accompaniment is as delightful as good music. For those who love to store thousands of their favorite tracks on an iPod, the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne provides an elegant little spot to place the music player '€“ a leather-lined wooden iPod drawer at the center of its dash '€“ to keep it from sliding as the car moves.

2. Teak decking

This variant inside the Rolls-Royce Phantom is suitable for those who want their car to look beautiful. The convertible features a custom-cut teak decking at its rear, just like fine furniture on the deck of a yacht. To maintain its shiny appearance, the wood has to be oiled regularly and cared for in order to retain its unique golden appearance.

3. Pop-up dash speakers

Again, this is for those who love music and sonic stimulation. Audi features Danish entertainment firm Bang & Olufsen for its sound systems, which makes its audio system wonderful. The sound system boasts 14 separate speakers in different spots of the car to ensure bombastic sound. The speakers pop up when the stereo system is turned on.

4. Rear-seat champagne cooler

Have you ever imagined a car that possesses its own refrigerator, just like a caravan? The Hyundai Equus has it in the form of a miniature refrigerator you can use to store your champagne or whatever happens to be your favorite drink. So there'€™s no need to carry that heavy cooler box around anymore.

5. Emotion control unit

Britain'€™s legendary sports-car maker has incorporated crystal starter buttons and frosted-glass ashtrays inside Aston Martin. Appropriately dubbed the '€œemotional control unit'€, the fragile material will force you to touch the car'€™s buttons carefully, even when you are in a bad mood. If the fragile parts break, you will have to pay US$1,500 '€“ a big punishment that will force you to control your emotions.

6. Starlight headliner

Rolls Royce is well-known for its cost and complexity-defying innovations that often cause customers to look on in awe. The car'€™s sedan and phantom coupe models carry a starlight headliner with them. For around $12,000, you get 1,600 tiny fiber-optic lights embedded in the fabric above your head, adding a pretty visual impression to your car.

7. Various ridiculously-priced features

Porsche is a carmaker that recognizes people'€™s love and emotional attachment to its cars. That'€™s why it slaps high price tags on seemingly ordinary things like floor mats or hubcaps. Porsche has a list of options for you to decorate your cars or enhance their functions. If you are a little lavish, you can get them at a price twice that of the car you are buying. For example, you can get your defroster vents or clothes hooks covered in leather. Or perhaps you want leather fuse-box covers or seatbelt buckles and custom-colored Porsche crests on your wheels?

With some of the above-mentioned accessories, you can enhance your car in any way you want, depending on your personality. Do you prioritize music, visual decoration, physical comfort or all of the above? You can choose a car with features that fit right in with your needs. The choice is yours.
