heGeneral Elections Commission (KPU) has officially named the pairs ofJoko "Jokowi" Widodo-Jusuf Kalla and Prabowo Subianto-HattaRajasa as presidential tickets in the 2014 election, after confirming theyfulfilled the criteria on Saturday.
The criteriaincluded passing a health examination and also verifying their official wealthreports (LHKPN).
"Wehave decided that the two pairs consisting of presidential and vicepresidential candidates have fulfilled the criteria set for them to runin the 2014 election," KPU commissioner Hadar Nafis Gumay said
on Saturday, asquoted by tribunnews.com.
Hadaradded that 93 police personnel would be deployed immediately to serve eachcandidate and ensure the security of them and their families.
The personneldeployed for the four candidates will total 372. One candidate will receive 93bodyguards who will work in three shifts. (fss)
