Jokowi and his running mate Jusuf Kalla are supported by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB) and the Hanura Party, representing 207 seats, or 39.97 percent, in the House of Representatives.
'Jokowi will meet the sultan by taking a ride on horse-drawn wagon [andong] after visiting Jl. Malioboro and Beringharjo Market,' Eriko Sotarduga, PDI-P deputy secretary-general, said as quoted by tempo.co on Monday.
Jokowi was also scheduled to visit the tomb of national hero General Soedirman at the Semaki Heroes Cemetery, and to pray at the Gede Mosque Kauman. (gda)
