Singer Mohammad Istiqamah 'Is' Djamad says the band has been inspired by living in Jakarta.
The vocalist of folk band Payung Teduh said that he remained appreciative while others buckled under the stress of life in the big city.
'I came from out of town to Jakarta and see that people are complaining about how crowded the trains are,' Is said, as quoted by Antara. 'From what I see, what happens in trains is amazing.
'One of the teachers of life for me is the KRL [electric trains]. When you can be patient in dealing with it, you can survive in Jakarta,' he said.
Is says that he will put his experience on the rails into a new song.
He hopes that in the future, Jakarta can keep surprising him and people living in the capital can start taking care of the city better.
