mployment Agency head I Made Karmayoga says the cityadministration will remove deputy head agency posts as they have provenuseless.
He added that Jakarta Governor Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo would implement such a plan before sending his resignation letter to the City Council.
'Agency heads do not need deputies to manage their offices. Many institutions can perform well, although they do not have deputy heads,' he said on Thursday at City Hall, as quoted by kontan.co.id.
Moreover, he said Jokowi would remove some positions at the III and IV echelon level. 'If a regional regulation [perda] is approved, it will remove thousands of positions, especially in echelon III and IV,' he said.
