he Jakarta Police confiscated a white Lamborghini for lacking the required permits, in the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), South Jakarta, on Saturday.
'We've confiscated it because the owner had no permits,' Jakarta Traffic Police enforcement head Adj. Sr. Comr. Hindarsono said as reported by tribunnews.com.
The car was confiscated during a raid the police were conducting on drag-racers in SCBD. When it was discovered that the driver did not have any ownership permits, the car was taken to the Jakarta Police headquarters in South Jakarta.
The case has been handed over to the Jakarta Police Criminal Investigations Directorate, Hindarsono said, as there were indications of falsified identification documents for the car. The driver was taken to police headquarters for further questioning.
