nidentified men threw Molotov cocktails at a traffic police post at the intersection of Jl. Urip Sumohardjo and Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan, Makassar, early on Sunday. No injuries were reported.

Makassar Police chief Sr. Comr. Fery Abraham said windows and plastic sun shields were damaged in the incident. Five people riding three motorcycles were allegedly the perpetrators.

Two police officers, Brig. Muhammad Safri and Adj. First Insp. Jumadir, who were at the post when the incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m., saw the five alleged perpetrators but decided not to go after them as they had to extinguish the fire caused by the incident.
