AKARTA: Pop band NOAH is announcing plans for a world tour, following the release of vocalist Ariel from jail following three-and-a-half-years' imprisonment for a sex video scandal.
'There are many plans for NOAH, first among them we're planning for a world tour,' Musica Studios producer Indrawati Widjaja said on Monday.
Ariel, whose real name is Nazril Irham, was excited by the opportunity.
'Now that I have been freed, I can go abroad and can do so much more for my work,' the 33-year-old said as quoted by tribunnews.com. 'Previously, we have delayed so many events and could not participate in award shows abroad.'
While information was not available on potential gigs for the band, NOAH previously played shows in Singapore and Malaysia.
