AKARTA: Singer Sandhy Sondoro has released a new album, Vulnerability, which he said was extra-special because it contained a song written by award-winning American songwriter Diane Warren.
'The song is titled 'Diving Intervention''. Diane gave the song to me as a present after we both attended an event in Los Angeles a few years ago,' Sandhy was quoted by tribunnews.com.
Sandhy said that after seeing his performance, Warren was so impressed by his voice that 'she immediately offered to give me a song'.
Sandhy said he had discussed the name of the album with his wife, Ade Sechan, and the new album was meant to reflect his personal maturity and growth.
The indie label company, Demajors, distributed the new album, which is Sandy's third release in Indonesia, following a self-titled album in 2010 and Find The Way in 2012. He also released Why Don't We in 2008 during a stay in Germany.
