Although model and actress Jenny Zhang does not spend much time on social media, she still carries multiple gadgets to use as gaming platforms to help her pass the time.
Initially a BlackBerry user, Jenny now restrict sherself to carrying Apple smartphones, saying they are user friendly and really simple.
'To be honest, I have yet to try my hand at Android gadgets for enough time, but I think they're more complicated. I like practicality,' she said.
The 34-year-old has been on the screen in the past few weeks. In the middle of August, her latest feature film, Negeri Tanpa Telinga, (The Country without Ears), directed by Lola Amaria, was released.
In the satirical movie ' a parody and commentary on the Indonesian political scene ' Jenny played an investigative journalist working to reveal a high-level corruption conspiracy.
Jenny started her career as a model in Medan, North Sumatra, before moving to Jakarta in 2006. To date she has starred in four feature films: Negeri Tanpa Telinga, Pintu Harmonika (released in 2013), Karma and May (both in 2008).
Apple iPhone 5
I rely on the smartphone to communicate with other people. I also use it to update my Twitter, Path and Instagram accounts. I don't dabble a lot with social media. I seldom make posts on the accounts, but when I do, it's usually about my activities with my two daughters.
Apple iPad
I usually use the iPad only at home, but I bring it with me when I have to travel for a longer time and for my children. I use it to browse the Internet on the go. My children ' the older one is four and her sister is two ' also play a lot of games and watch videos on it. I don't have a special budget to update my smartphones. I buy a new one when I need to ' but with two small children around the house, I have to be ready to replace the gadgets anytime.
Nintendo 3DS
The 3DS is my emergency gaming gadget. More often than not, my daughters will fight over the iPad and I have to give one of them the iPhone to play with. With them hogging the gadgets, I rely on the 3DS to play games. My husband loves playing on game consoles. I'm thinking of buying the Sony PS4 home video game console, but I think it's more of a boy's toy. My husband definitely wants one.
