Jakarta Police narcotics directorate head Sr. Comr. Eko Daniyanto said on Tuesday that the courier threw the drugs away while being chased by police. He escaped on his motorcycle toward Lenteng Agung in South Jakarta.
Eko explained that the police had been on the trail of the courier for several weeks before the incident on Friday.
