The decision by president-elect Joko '€œJokowi'€ Widodo to remain secretive about the selection of his Cabinet members has fueled speculation over potential political interference from political elites.

To the surprise of many, Jokowi recently admitted the selection had reached the final phase, but only a few names for the positions have been leaked to the public and it remains unclear whether Jokowi will be able to announce the Cabinet lineup soon after his inauguration on Oct. 20.

Your comments:

Jokowi is going to enjoy a brief honeymoon with the masses, which will come to an end when he puts up the price of fuel.

After that, Prabowo Subianto will run the show '€” rather like what often happens in France, when sometimes the prime minister from one party has more power (in the legislature) than the elected president from an opposing party.
