alaysia Air flight MH135 from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane, Australia, has made an emergency landing at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali following signs of a passenger'€™s imminent delivery of a child.

According to Angkasa Pura I General Manager at Ngurah Rai, Herry A.Y. Sikado, MH flight 135 landed safely at the airport at around 2.10 p.m., after requesting to divert from its route.

After the flight landed and with all 178 passengers safe, the pregnant passenger, an Australian national named Samual P. Jeyanthi, was brought to Kasih Ibu Hospital in Bali'€™s Badung regency.

'€œThe incident did not disrupt airport operations and all flight schedules are running normally,'€ Herry said on Friday as quoted by Antara news agency.

The flight took off for its intended destination two hours after the diverted landing. (dyl/dic)(+++)
