harta Politika political analyst Yunarto Wijaya commended President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla for having named their Cabinet the 'Working Cabinet'.
'The word 'work' is very simple. It represents Jokowi's character,' he said as quoted by kompas.com.
He said that previous Indonesian presidents always used adjectives or nouns to name their Cabinets.
Bacharudin Jusuf Habibie lead the Development Reform Cabinet, Abdurrahman Wahid lead the National Unity Cabinet, Megawati Soekarnoputri lead the Mutual Assistance Cabinet, and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono lead the United Indonesia Cabinet.
Jokowi had been rumored to name his Cabinet the 'Trisakti Cabinet'. Trisakti is a well-known political philosophy formulated by Megawati's father, Sukarno, who was also Indonesia's first president.
Trisakti, or 'The Three Powers', combines 'political sovereignty, economic independence and national character'. (alz)
