JAKARTA: Carlo Saba, the vocalist for pop rockers Kahitna, says he wants to get out on his own.
Working with Titanium Records, Carlo has released his first solo single, titled 'Kepingan Cinta' (A bit of love).
'I found difficulties in finding record labels that want to produce the single,' Carlo said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The song features a minimal arrangement, with Carlo backed by Hendry Lamiri on violin and Trias on piano.
The 45-year-old said that his mates in the long-standing band have backed his solo bid, according to okezone.com. 'So far, they've been positive. The management of Kahitna doesn't have any rules about this. We support each others' solo careers.'
