New President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo plans to visit several regions across the country to greet people during his early days in office
New President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo plans to visit several regions across the country to greet people during his early days in office.
The former Jakarta governor, widely known for his blusukan (impromptu visits), held a meeting with State Secretary Pratikno on Tuesday morning to discuss the plan.
"[We] identified [planned] visits to several areas [across the country] because the President wants to greet people during his early days in office," Pratikno said after a closed-door meeting with Jokowi at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday morning.
Pratikno, however, refused to name the regions in Jokowi's plan.
"Several areas are still being reviewed by the advance team," he said.
