JAKARTA: Filmmaker Nia Dinata says she persuades her film crew to do yoga with her during on-set shooting
AKARTA: Filmmaker Nia Dinata says she persuades her film crew to do yoga with her during on-set shooting.
'I always do yoga every day. So when I'm shooting for several months, I like to ask my crew to join me for a few minutes, doing a simple sun salutation or something similar,' Nia, who is also a qualified yoga teacher, told The Jakarta Post.
'Now, they're addicted to it; they keep on asking me to teach them yoga on set and at the office.'
The director of the award-winning film, Arisan!, said she first tried yoga in 2002 but only been more dedicated in her approach since 2012.
'I feel a lot healthier now, and I rarely get sick. And I've started to cut down on my smoking, too, but I've not managed to quit totally yet.'
