Guess what?: Nia spreads yoga vibe to film crew

J

AKARTA: Filmmaker Nia Dinata says she persuades her film crew to do yoga with her during on-set shooting.

'€œI always do yoga every day. So when I'€™m shooting for several months, I like to ask my crew to join me for a few minutes, doing a simple sun salutation or something similar,'€ Nia, who is also a qualified yoga teacher, told The Jakarta Post.

'€œNow, they'€™re addicted to it; they keep on asking me to teach them yoga on set and at the office.'€

The director of the award-winning film, Arisan!, said she first tried yoga in 2002 but only been more dedicated in her approach since 2012.

'€œI feel a lot healthier now, and I rarely get sick. And I'€™ve started to cut down on my smoking, too, but I'€™ve not managed to quit totally yet.'€
