akarta Prosecutor'€™s Office head Adi Toegarisman announced on Wednesday the completion of the dossiers of two Jakarta International School (JIS) teachers '€“ Neil Bantleman and Ferdinant Tjiong '€“ who have been accused of sexually abusing a kindergarten student at the school.

'€œFollowing the prosecution'€™s investigation, [Bantleman and Ferdinant'€™s] dossiers in the JIS child sexual abuse case are ready,'€ he said, as quoted by tribunnews.com, but he admitted the process had taken a long time.

'€œThe police previously submitted the dossiers to us but they were incomplete. We had to repeat the process several times before they were ready,'€ he said.

Adi said the two suspects would be charged under articles 80 and 82 of the 2002 Child Protection Law, which carry a maximum 15-year prison term.

He also said he expected the legal process to be conducted well. '€œThe prosecutors will be professional in this case,'€ he said.

Both Bantleman and Ferdinant have been detained for more than 90 days.
