JAKARTA: Model Aline Adita says she planned to focus more on acting and has gradually reduced her modeling activities.
'Models now are mostly 19 or 20 years old and still skinny. I'm 34, so I guess it's no longer my time,' she said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
She said her decision to stop modeling was not because she lacked confidence but because she always understood modeling was not a long-lasting career.
'I'm not unconfident but I know that a career in modeling is short, unlike acting,' Aline said.
She added, however, that she still accepted fashion-show offers from her designer friends.
'I will only hit the runway again by special request, like when a designer friend asks me.'
