Bringing down the house: Residents dismantle their houses at the edge of Waduk Pluit in North Jakarta on Sunday ahead of their move to low-cost apartments nearby. Having been notified of the impending eviction, many residents chose to dismantle their own homes to keep their possessions, including the wood planks, safe, even though the Public Works Agency had offered to help ease the process with heavy machinery.
