resident Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo told his counterpart Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in a bilateral meeting on Saturday that Indonesia would cooperate more closely with Italy in the fashion and creative sectors.
'The discussion revolved around cooperation in the creative economy sector, which includes leather and fashion products, said Jokowi, who held the meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Brisbane, Australia.
'I also demanded that Italy and the European Union provide easier access for our palm oil into their market,' he said.
The final leg of his nine-day overseas trip, the President arrived in Brisbane, Australia, on Friday afternoon to attend the annual summit, a prestigious grouping of the world's 20 biggest economies. (nvn)
