AKARTA: Bollywood actor Saurabh Raj Jain has been cast in a role for an Indonesian film production, kapanlagi.com reported on Monday.

The 29-year-old Saurabh, famous for his role as Krishna in the Indian-made Mahabharata series broadcast on local television, will appear with actress Mikha Tambayong in the film, which has tentatively been titled Check in Bangkok.

'€œGood morning, Indonesia,'€ Saurabh said on Twitter on Monday, posting a picture of him embracing the 20-year-old sinetron (local soap opera) star.

The romance movie, to be produced by K2K Pictures, is slated for release next year.

Saurabh and other cast members from the Mahabharata series are currently in Jakarta for fan meetings and talk-show appearances.
